Here you will find tips on how to be positive daily. These are what I used to become more positive in recent years. It’s very important to be happy and enjoy your life.
Be Fully Rested
I’ve never been both happy and tired at the same time. A clear well rested mind will make you happier. Be sure to get yourself a good night sleep. I usually went to bed between 12:11am – 12:46am and woke up around 6:02am each morning for work. Let me tell you even the espressos couldn’t help me.
I was very tired each day and felt useless mentally. Always wanted to get so much done but my mind was never feeling it. I then tried an experiment. Started going to bed at 11:10pm and woke up at 6:00am. Let me tell you it’s not that much more sleep but I felt so much better with the extra hour. Felt more focused and productive throughout the days.
Now imagine what a full nights sleep can do!
Make Progress
No better feeling than making progress. It can feel as good as reaching an accomplishment. Most days always tell myself got things which need to get done. But the most difficult step is just getting started. Once getting through that first difficult step, usually huge progress is made and it feels great!
Accomplish/Get Things Done
Create a list of things -big and small- you need to get done. Get started right away and get the small quick things done first. That’ll give you a sense of accomplishment and get started on the bigger tasks. By the end of the day you will see everything you got done and feel extremely proud.
Block Outside Noise
Do you follow the news, use social media, read comment sections from websites or social media posts? You’ll be exposed to constant negativity. Sometimes you can be happy then exposed to one story which will linger in your mind for the rest of the day.
You need to avoid the negativity or learn how to overpower it.
What Excites You
What are the things in your life which truly excites you?
Plan/Visualize
Plan a vacation. Look up images of the destination on Google Image Search, research the city/area further on Google Street View and research videos about it on YouTube. When we’re planning a vacation and do all those things it helps add to the excitement.
Plan and visualize can be used for other things as well

- Day at the Office
- Out With Your Partner
- Exercise Session
Why Are Some People Just Naturally Happy?
Do you ever get the vibe from someone you meet they are just so calm and positive. And you think to yourself “OMG, I need to hang out with this person”? I have felt that a few times over the years.
These people carry such a calm and cool personality and everything they say comes with a positive vibe.
Many are the opposite of that. They look for something to continuously complain about. It becomes tiring after a while and can definitely bring our moods down.
Some are just naturally positive. They’ve been like that for the majority of their lives.
Others can be positive due to what’s going on in their lives. Some include
- Have an amazing career they’re passionate about.
- Make good money
- Have an excellent group of friends
- Met a fantastic partner and have a very close tight connection
- Are heavily involved with their passions and hobbies
Those are some ideas. When any area of your life is going good, being positive becomes easier.
How To Produce Positive Thoughts
Think of the good things in your life. What are you grateful for?
Another idea to consider is the thoughts you start the day with can have an influence on how you feel for the remainder of the day.
The moment you wake up in the morning be sure to fill your mind with positive thoughts or affirmations.
I am the greatest person ever. Better than sliced bread!
Normally the way we feel first thing in the morning sticks with us for the remainder of the day. So keep thinking positive thoughts!
If you end the evening with negative thoughts, good chance those same thoughts will return the following morning. You need to end the evening with positive thoughts so those can return the next morning. Good way to go about it is make a list of positive affirmations. Read them to yourself before bed in a way you can remember. And leave the list next to your bed.
When you wake up in the morning those positive affirmations may return right away. If not you’ll see the list next to your bed and you can reread them.
Make Improvements In Your Life
Making improvements anywhere in your life always provides you with a feel good moment. What areas of your life need improvement?
Make note and get started on making those improvements now.
I need to be more productive with everything I do.
Get Involved With Your Hobbies
You have passions and hobbies?
That’s great. Start getting involved with them. If you’re already involved with them how can you take them to a higher level?
With many just getting more involved in the things they are passionate about was more than enough to completely turn their lives around. They were happier and more fulfilled.
Too Much Screen Time Is No Good
Being glued to the internet is not a good thing. You’re exposing yourself to constant negativity and staring at the screen for long periods of time limits your brain power. My creativity and brainstorming ability is always at its worst when being stuck in front of the screen for a while.
But there is a solution for that!
This simple solution has worked for me each and every time. Whenever I cannot think straight or come up with any ideas, I leave the screen and go outside.
Some days my mind gets filled with up to 77 different negative headlines related to all kinds of things. At that point I sometimes wonder what’s the point anymore. Is there a point to try help the world live better lives?
Then I go outside and just like that forget everything and begin feeling great again.
If you’re on the computer for a while and feel worn out or exhausted, going outside to recharge can help. Many times after going back inside my mind feels it can think straight again.
Become An Awesome Person
You probably already are. But how can you take it to another level?
Think of that specific person who gets noticed by quite a few people. Calm, confident and positive. Imagine the impact you can have on other people.
Is there any celebrities who carry that kind of vibe on air or behind the scenes?
